We are currently seeking experienced safety-conscious Equipment Operators to join the team at Post Oak Landfill in Luling, TX . Previous landfill or waste experience would be a huge plus , but willing to train the right candidate. The position is a Day Shift working Monday through Friday start time 6am-5:30pm with occasional Saturdays working 45-55 hours a week. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform Maintenance around the site and facilities as needed Spreading and compacting trash using a Compactor Spreading daily cover using a Dozer Excavating soil using an Excavator Hauling soil MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: Experience driving forklift, dozer, or articulated dump truck preferred Must demonstrate ability to learn and independently operate equipment used at facility Must become proficient in the care and use of all site specific, facility required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) Must demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily Able to work outside in all weather conditions Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. repeatedly MUST BE ABLE TO OPERATE A D6 OR BIGGER Apply today and Connect with Your Future!
