Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated competence in integrating functional neuroanatomy and relevant linguistic, cultural, educational, and other background factors in case formulation.
  • Strong skills in report writing and communication of results and recommendations to patients, families, referring physicians, and interprofessional colleagues.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with demonstrated ability to produce high-quality work while meeting clinical timelines.
  • Experience supervising psychology learners and psychometrists is an asset.
  • Experience with electronic patient record systems is an asset.

The clinic provides specialized neuropsychological assessment services for adults and older adults with complex neurological conditions. The role will primarily support diagnostic neuropsychology services across KBI programs, with responsibilities adjusted based on service needs. This may include assessment of patients with movement disorders, epilepsy, neurodegenerative diseases, neurovascular disorders, and other complex neurological presentations, as well as selected post-operative or neurosurgical-related assessments. Assessments are conducted within a supervised assessment model that may include psychometrists and psychology learners, and support cognitive diagnosis, prognostic formulation, treatment planning, and patient- and family-centred care.
