About the role

We have aggressive growth in our various lines of service and we are looking for a detail oriented and energetic individual to join our finance team. If you are ambitious, results driven and looking for a Super Fast paved and challenging role this is where you need to be.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with data entry, bank reconciliations, report generation, and other basic bookkeeping tasks.
  • Assist in Full Cycle Bookkeeping activities using Quickbooks Online (AR/AP/GL)
  • Accounts Receivable: Payment collections and reconciliations
  • Accounts Payable: Vendor and Contractor Bills and Payments
  • Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations
  • Financial reporting and ad hoc finance operations projects and requests
  • Reconciling timesheets, contractor invoices, follow up with the contractors as required
  • Assist in monthly filings and remittances.
  • Receive, send and handle various documentation such as invoices, purchase orders etc
  • Follow-up with employees and contractors through email and phone for time and expenses
  • Facilitate legal documentation within tight timelines SOWs, NDA's, MSA's and liaise with the legal team as required
  • Assist in the preparation of licencing quotes for the sales team and clients
  • Prepare biweekly employee payroll
  • Skills and Competencies:
  • Experience in bookkeeping AR/AP
  • College or University in Accounting is an asset
  • Experience with QuickBooks - Data entry, reconciliation and reporting
  • Advanced Proficiency in Excel (vlookup, Pivot Tables, Formulas, What if Scenarios)
  • Excellent Communications (written and oral)
  • Experience working in consulting or a service-based industry is a strong bonus
  • Very responsive, accustomed to 24 hour or less turn around time on new requests
  • Tech Savvy, proficiency with MSOffice Suite, Can pick up new software applications quickly.
  • Highly motivated self-starter who is able to work in a fast-paced ever-changing environment
  • Creative, innovative out of the box thinker with superior accuracy and quality of work
  • Strong work ethic with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Process and deadline oriented with exceptional attention to detail
  • Inspires trust by demonstrating integrity-possesses a strong sense of confidentiality
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
