RF Calibration Technician

About the role

We are seeking highly motivated RF Calibration Engineers to join. our team, Joining our team as a RF Calibration Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking various calibrations both ISO9001/17025 accredited in accordance with Company Procedures, UKAS regulations, recognised specifications, etc. Calibrating measuring instrumentation to traceable and accredited standards. Job Opportunity What will you be responsible for: * Perform calibration of customer equipment using approved procedures and good Metrology practice. * Ensure all certificates and records are completed accurately; * Participate in UKAS and accreditation audits. * Handling technical enquiries and liaising with clients where necessary. * Produce, develop and audit automated and manual calibration procedures for use within the Laboratory for customer calibration. * Develop measurement uncertainty budgets for customer calibrations. * Provide technical support and mentoring to colleagues on request in line with capability. * The ability to understand & interpret specifications/technical drawings will be advantageous. * Calibration of general-purpose RF equipment, including Sensors, Power Meters, Signal Generators, Counters, Network Analysers etc. Company Benefits Competitive salary Continuous development and training plan 25 days holiday and the option to buy/sell days Flexible working options Access to the Trescal PerksHub Employee well-being programme Medical Health Cash Plan Pension and Life Assurance Scheme Cycle to work scheme Gym membership discounts Essential Skills What you will bring to the team: * Have previous experience as an RF Calibration Engineer. * Inspection or calibration experience in the manufacturing, aerospace or automotive sector. * Ideally technical qualification such as degree, HND or HNC. * Good understanding of calibration practices and theories. * Excellent knowledge of BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
