About the role
This position is located in the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer. You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience: Specialized Experience for the GS-15, you must have one year (full 52 weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: -Leading or overseeing programs related to Federal employee pay administration, benefits administration, retirement processing, leave administration, premium pay, workers' compensation, time and attendance, and personnel action processing; AND -Applying Federal laws, regulations, policies, and guidance related to pay, leave, benefits, retirement, and human resources operations, including resolving highly sensitive or unusual cases; AND -Managing high-volume operational workloads while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, internal controls, regulatory compliance, and customer service standards; AND -Leading or coordinating cross-functional operational activities involving payroll providers, shared service centers, finance organizations, timekeeping systems, or external oversight entities; AND -Supervising or leading teams responsible for delivering operational human resources services in a sensitive, fast-paced, or highly regulated environment. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
