AutoCAD Technician

Responsibilities

• Sunbelt Rentals, Scaffold Services Division, is seeking an AutoCAD Technician to develop detailed scaffold design layouts for construction projects. Project types include:
• Exterior scaffolding around building perimeters
• Interior elevated work platforms ("dance floors")
• Industrial scaffolding applications, including tanks and complex structures (both internal and external)
• You will collaborate closely with project teams and clients, including commercial and industrial contractors, to deliver practical and compliant solutions.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and strong spatial awareness
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Above-average math skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Previous scaffold experience or construction background required
• Physical Requirements
• This role may require physical activity, including:
• Bending, squatting, crouching, and reaching
• Lifting 50 lbs (23 kg) or more
• Working in both indoor and outdoor environments, depending on project needs

• Base Pay Range
• 28.26 - 40.62
