The Sr. Technician is responsible for performing complex technical tasks in Avionics & Electronics Assembly and Test, troubleshooting issues, and providing support to other team members. They may also be involved in the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment or systems. Essential Functions Perform as a team leader, providing guidance and training to junior technicians Ability to work unsupervised, as part of an established team, while performing a high level of critical assembly and test functions. Ability to complete assigned tasks to meet production schedules Assists in the production assembly of said products and equipment Write reports of daily production activity Maintains records and files of all completed production/engineering work Inspects product design for problems or errors Running tests on products and equipment to ensure they function properly Analyzes system or product performance Performs electrical or electronic functional assessments and makes recommendations to engineers Addresses and resolves glitches and problems with products Conducts regular maintenance on products and equipment Orders and replaces equipment parts Answers employee or customer questions about the function and maintenance of products Provides technical support to customers and employees Ensures that all safety procedures are observed during production work Assists in the design and build of prototypes on planned products or equipment Performs other related duties as assigned.
