AECOM Hunt is seeking an MEP Superintendent to lead day-to-day field delivery of MEP scopes on complex construction projects, ensuring quality, schedule, and cost outcomes. The seasoned MEP Superintendent will coordinate subcontractors, commissioning agents, utilities, and OEMs; resolve field issues in real time. Job Duties: Planning & look-aheads: Own 3-6 week MEP look-aheads, constraint logs, and material/equipment tracking (long-lead items, FATs/factory witness tests, delivery sequences, lift plans); align with the master schedule and commissioning milestones. Coordination & installation: Direct MEP trade sequencing, sleeves/embeds, hangers, supports, rough-in, distribution, and equipment setting; run above-ceiling walks; drive clash resolution with BIM/VDC and ensure model-to-field alignment. Review and ensure QA/QC of project, coordinating with Quality Teams as necessary. Coordinate BMS/EMS/SCADA integration, point-to-point and loop checks, sequence-of-operations validation, and vendor start-up for HVAC, electrical gear, generators/UPS, fire alarm, and low voltage systems. Coordinate commissioning, drive pre-functional checklists, functional performance tests, manage O&M, training, and turnover packages. Plan and execute cutovers, outages, and energization with utilities and stakeholders; prepare MOPs/EOPs and contingency plans; ensure lockout/tagout and PPE compliance. Maintain daily reports, photos, redlines/as-builts; manage RFIs, submittals, field directives, and change events; validate installed quantities and progress for pay applications; track deficiencies to closeout. Interface with project team, owners/clients, designers, inspectors, AHJ to quickly resolve issues. Champion job site safety.
