About the role
At Junior Adventures Group, we are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Playworker to join our growing team. Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of structured and engaging activities including multi-sports, games, arts & crafts, and structured play
- Create a fun, inclusive and safe environment for children
- Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and company procedures are followed at all times
- Support children during arrival, activities, and collection
- Follow sign-in and sign-out procedures
- Assist with setting up and packing away play areas and equipment
- Provide refreshments while maintaining hygiene standards
- Complete relevant documentation including accident and incident forms
- Communicate professionally with children, parents, colleagues, and schools
- Carry out basic equipment checks and help maintain a safe environment
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage active participation
- Support first aid and health & safety procedures where required
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children (desirable)
- A positive, enthusiastic and proactive attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and able to follow procedures
- Ability to create a safe, engaging and inclusive environment
- Passion for working with children and supporting their development
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

- This role is subject to safeguarding requirements in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable and caring individual to join our team to help create a safe, structured and enjoyable environment for children attending our breakfast club school provision.
