Junior Civil Engineer/Project Scheduler (Primavera P6)

About the role

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to define project timelines and milestones Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly to reflect actual status Identify schedule risks, delays, and critical path activities, and propose mitigation strategies Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and schedule analysis for stakeholders Support project managers in planning, forecasting, and resource allocation Review contractor schedules and ensure alignment with overall project timeline Ensure compliance with project controls standards and procedures Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) Minimum 3-7 years of experience in project scheduling, planning, or project controls Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6 (mandatory) Experience in engineering, construction, energy, or infrastructure projects is highly preferred Good understanding of project lifecycle, critical path method (CPM), and scheduling principles Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams Fluent in English We offer the following to qualified candidates: Friendly international working environment with a wide variety of interesting and challenging tasks Competitive salary package Career opportunity in one of the largest international consulting and engineering companies Possibility to grow professionally and advance in career At AFRY, we engineer change in everything we do.
