Intern, Product Planning & Strategy

About the role

As a Product Planning & Strategy Intern, you will be working closely with the Product team on day-to-day operations and real-life projects.

Responsibilities

• Roles and Responsibilities:
• Project 1: How analysis helps businesses to grow
• Analysis on market landscape (GfK, Futuresource, Power BI and etc)
• Price Tracker for Selected Countries.
• Macro/Micro Study of the APAC region
• Keep in touch with the latest competitor trend
• Undertake competitive analysis to evaluate the attractiveness of our offerings and provide recommendations of competitive responses where applicable
• Project 2: Be a part of a Product Planning & Strategy Process
• Intern will be given a specific category/product to research and formulate a key strategy to win the space.
• Participate in the elaboration of the marketing plan: positioning, key selling points, communication plan/timeline and key performance indicators
• Bringing new perspective of how to elevate the assigned category to another level.
• Competitor analysis + SWOT analysis
• Project 3: Understanding the thoughts of being a Product Manager
• Support and Shadow the Product Team for Tracking Related matters
• Creating unbox-ing and how to use videos
• Exposed to the latest innnovation from Harman/JBL and provide feedback via Product Testing
• Simplifying processes whenever appliable
• What You Need to Be Successful
• Passionate about streaming and/or consumer tech
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills
• Proactive work ethics; you'll go the extra mile to get the results you want.
• Flexibility; able to see the value of assigned tasks and able to adapt to unfamiliar & ambiguous situations.
• Enjoy working in fast paced environment.
• Strong people person

• 2nd year or Final year student in a relevant Polytechnic course
