Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent and 7+ years of experience designing electronic enclosures.
- Experience in use of 3D MCAD tools (Creo/NX).
- Experience designing sheet metal parts using soft and hard tooling guidelines.
- Experience with GD&T and tolerance analysis.
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and 4+ years of experience designing electronic enclosures.
- Relevant experience in the mechanical design of computer/networking.
- Experience in designing sheet metal enclosures for fixed and modular systems
- Prior knowledge in manufacturing tooling for sheet metal, plastic, and die-casting.
- Experience in designing plastic and die-cast parts.
- Broad knowledge of other cross-functional design areas: PCB layout, EMI, safety, and thermal.
