Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Assistant Director, Engineering, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards
- Lead the implementation, administration, and ongoing management of Transcendent and ALICE systems for preventative maintenance and work order tracking
- Perform office administration duties, including payroll preparation, document management, record keeping, and internal communications
- Act as office administrator for GAIA
- Maintain and update departmental Health & Safety binders on an ongoing basis
- Organize, coordinate, and track hotel and residence preventative maintenance programs
- Coordinate, schedule, and monitor in-house work and external service contractors
- Ensure compliance with departmental policies, procedures, and service standards

- Your experience and skills include:
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience working in a hotel maintenance environment, including preventative maintenance programs
- Ability to remain flexible and consistently re-prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Previous exposure to departmental accounting and administrative tasks
- Experience with contractor scheduling and project administration
- Strong computer skills across Microsoft Windows applications, with the ability to quickly learn web-based systems and software
- Experience using property management systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
