Job Title: Terrain Park Hand Crew Level 2 Job Status: Seasonal Compensation and Benefits: Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $18.50 to $20.40+, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience. Benefits: This is a seasonal position eligible for season pass for employees/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available. Job Summary: The Hand Crew 2 position supports the daily operations and maintenance of Woodward Copper's Terrain Parks while taking on additional leadership responsibilities. This role assists with feature builds and repairs, mentors first-year crew members, and helps ensure all park features meet safety and quality standards. Hand Crew 2 serves as an on-snow ambassador, promoting freestyle terrain etiquette and providing a positive guest experience. This position works under the supervision of Terrain Park Supervisor/Manager/Leads to maintain a high-quality park environment through proactive maintenance, teamwork, and professionalism. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assists with small to mid-scale feature builds and rebuilds, including shaping transitions, lips, and landings under direction of Leads and Cat Operators. Conducts minor repairs and welding prep work on features when needed. Supports and helps lead daily opening and closing procedures, ensuring all fencing, signage, branding, and features are set to standard. Acts as a mentor for first-year crew members, training them on raking standards, safety protocols, and park etiquette. Collaborates with Supervisors and Leads to identify feature improvements or areas needing attention, communicating observations effectively. Participates in basic layout adjustments, moving rails or boxes with supervision, and assisting with measurements and placement. Monitors guest usage of features, promoting safety awareness, freestyle etiquette, and park flow management proactively. Provides daily feedback to Leads and Supervisors regarding park conditions, guest interactions, and operational needs. Assists with event builds and teardowns, demonstrating understanding of event feature standards and timelines. Demonstrates strong professionalism and leadership, representing the park crew in a positive and solution-focused manner in all interactions.
