Protection Case Advocate

Responsibilities

• Be able to quickly establish a good client rapport and provide exceptional service throughout an agent and client's experience with us;
• Partner with all Ash Plus agents to engage with their clients in discovery calls, fulfillment of the insurance applications and coordination of the application process;
• Evaluate client situation and provide initial, basic underwriting evaluation;
• Coordinate with the underwriting and marketing teams to assist with a recommendation of coverage;
• Complete application and applicable forms directly with the client, explaining the process, and answering questions on basics of policy ownership, beneficiary designations, products and product design;
• Frequently monitor the progress of cases, assist with the procurement of outstanding requirements, provide quality communication to clients and advisors, and document case activity within the AMS system;
• Collaborate with Ash Plus teammates in the development of best practices and processes to enhance the efficiency and quality of the team's services.

• Superior negotiation skills to influence successful outcomes;
• Track record of success in fast-paced customer service environment;
• Strong phone and computer skills - specifically Microsoft Excel and Word - with the ability to quickly learn use of our internal and carrier software;
• Resident Life Insurance license, or able to obtain it within 6 months of starting in role;
• Education and Experience:
• Associate degree plus two to three years of related experience and/or training, or ...
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
• Additional experience beneficial:
• Prior relationship and/or client management experience
• Prior underwriting experience
