In this role you will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial data while partnering cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and other business teams to improve processes and drive operational efficiency. As a senior individual contributor, you will own key accounting workflows, support month-end close activities, and identify opportunities to streamline processes, strengthen controls, and enhance reporting. This role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, operational awareness, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Responsibilities

• Month-end and period close for operational accounts (reconciliations, journals, accruals, intercompany)
• Produce operational and management reports (costs, margin, inventory, service volumes, KPI's) and explain variances.
• Own accounting compliance, internal controls, and audit readiness across high-volume operational processes, distribution centers, and related entities.
• Heavy involvement in the annual external audit process, including preparation of schedules, coordination of audit requests, and partnership with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
• Support and lead aspects of the month-end close , ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting.
• Drive process improvements and automation to reduce errors and month-end efforts.
• Own and execute key operational accounting processes such as: inventory reconciliations, cycle count results, adjustments, reserves, and variance analysis across warehouse and fulfillment environments.
• Partner closely with operations, procurement, and FP&A teams to ensure accounting treatment reflects business activity and supports scalable growth .
• Lead or support ERP conversions and systems initiatives, including process mapping, testing, cutover readiness, issue resolution, training, and post-implementation stabilization.
• Drive cross-functional projects focused on process improvement, automation, reporting visibility, and financial control enhancements across accounting operations.
