Now we're looking for an Automation Engineer to join our passionate team and help us shape the future of food and beverages. You will be based in Roeselare, Belgium, report to the Automation Manager and be part of a great team of people based in our locations across Europe. Your role in the blend In your role as Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of automation standards, play a part in projects and support the technical teams to keep the factories running. In this role, you will: work together to design and implement technical projects as project manager, project leader or as member of a project team be responsible for automation and electrical related works make sure that our factories are up to date from an automation and electrical perspective provide information to start/prepare business cases for projects initiate, lead and participate in engineering projects to streamline production facilities as well as improving work environment and product quality Your key ingredients You would be a great fit if your background and experience would look similar to this: Bachelor or master of Science in Engineering or equivalent knowledge based on work experience. (Electromechanics, Automation,...) Analytical skills and mindset To enjoy this role, you need to be a team player with a positive and energetic can-do attitude, capability for building partnerships, and at the same time ability to work independently This position suits someone who enjoys working in fast moving area and is able to handle new directions and working with several tasks simultaneously Fluent in Dutch and English, knowledge of French is a plus Not afraid to travel to the different facilities Be part of the on-call duty Hands-on approach The flavours we bring Working at Paulig , a family owned company, means being part of an international community with bold ambitions and a n inclusive growth culture.
