Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation, filing, and service of pleadings for cross-border family matters involving Singapore and China.
- Act as a liaison between all parties, including Singapore/China clients, courts, and other stakeholders, for scheduling and information sharing.

- Prepare affidavits, legal correspondence, and other documents for lawyers in English and Chinese.
- Organize and maintain paper and electronic filing systems.
- Meet with clients, attorneys, and other professionals to discuss case details, including Mandarin-speaking clients from China.
- Investigate case facts and laws, search PRC/Singapore public records, and analyse legal materials to support case preparation.
- Gather and analyse statutes, case law, legal articles, and other data from both Singapore and China jurisdictions.
- Job Requirements:
- Degree in Law or a Juris Doctor. Candidates with a Bachelor of Laws from a PRC university, or holding a PRC Legal Practice Qualification Certificate, will have an advantage.
- Minimum 1 year of substantive experience as a paralegal in family litigation, preferably with exposure to China-related matters.
- Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin and English is essential . The firm deals extensively with PRC clients, PRC documents, and Chinese-language correspondence with PRC courts and counterpart counsel.
- Strong multitasking and organisational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced cross-border environment.
