Software and Applications Manager(Appian development, Banking ,Oracle, Agile, Scrum, SAIL )

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement enterprise applications using Appian BPM.
• Develop SAIL interfaces, process models, records, reports, dashboards, expression rules, query rules, CDTs, and Data Store Entities.
• Build and integrate Appian applications with REST/SOAP web services and external systems.
• Analyze business requirements and provide scalable technical solutions.
• Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Appian best practices and coding standards.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Work closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Support release management, application deployment, and production monitoring.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of overall IT experience with 6+ years of hands-on Appian development experience.
• Strong expertise in Appian BPM development across multiple versions.
• Hands-on experience with SAIL Forms, Process Models, Records, Reports, Dashboards, Expression Rules, Query Rules, CDTs, and Data Store Entities.
• Experience integrating Appian with REST/SOAP APIs and external systems.
• Strong experience in Oracle, MySQL, and SQL.
• Experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with application deployment, monitoring, release management, and production support.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience working in Banking, Healthcare or Oil & Gas domains is preferred.
• Appian Certified Lead Developer certification is highly preferred.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is an added advantage.
