Responsibilities

• Commercial Contracting:
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial agreements, including customer, vendor, partnership, and SaaS contracts.
• Cross-Functional Legal Support:
• Partner with teams across sales, marketing, product, HR, and leadership to provide practical legal guidance that supports business growth.
• Privacy & Compliance:
• Support the privacy and security team on privacy, data protection, and regulatory matters impacting the business.
• Risk Management:
• Identify legal and operational risks and provide clear, business-oriented recommendations to help the company move forward confidently.
• Process Improvement:
• Help build scalable legal processes, templates, and workflows that improve efficiency across the organization.
• Strategic Support:
• Assist with corporate, operational, and strategic legal matters as the company continues to grow.

Requirements

• You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of operating independently while managing competing priorities in a fast-moving environment. You know how to communicate legal concepts clearly and practically, helping teams move efficiently while protecting the company's interests.
• You thrive in collaborative environments and are energized by helping build scalable legal processes that support growth. Finally, you are comfortable working fully-remote with occasional travel.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
• 4+ years of legal experience, preferably with a combination of large law firm and in-house experience
• Strong experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts
• Experience advising business stakeholders on legal and operational risk
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience implementing AI-assisted legal workflows and contract management a plus
• Experience working in technology, ecommerce, SaaS, advertising, or digital media environments is a plus
• Strong commercial contracting and negotiation skills
• Practical, business-oriented legal judgment
• Familiarity with privacy and data protection concepts
• Ability to work cross-functionally and build trusted relationships
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments
• Ability to balance competing priorities with sound judgment
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and evolving business needs
• Interest in AI, ecommerce, privacy, cybersecurity, and emerging technology landscapes
