Hexcel is currently seeking a Corporate Research Lab (CRL) Scientist / Engineer - Early Career Program for our Duxford, UK location. The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations: Lead / supervise, with support of senior scientists, one or more CRL technology projects that are aligned with future Hexcel business needs Contribute directly to laboratory work and work with other team members as required to achieve project goals. Ensure research is conducted in a safe manner according to best practice and that all environmental and transportation legislation is adhered to Read external literature, such as academic papers and patents, to stay current with the state of the art in composites. May attend any relevant conferences or exhibitions. Record results through appropriate use of laboratory notebooks and computer storage and writing technical reports.
