The physician will evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage patients across a broad range of primary care needs while supporting the organization's mission to deliver compassionate, accessible, and culturally competent healthcare. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a community clinic or FQHC-style outpatient environment and will demonstrate strong commitment to serving underserved and uninsured patient populations. Candidates with prior experience in an FQHC, community health center, safety-net clinic, public health clinic, or high-volume outpatient primary care setting will be strongly prioritized. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to patients in a community clinic setting. Perform patient evaluations, diagnoses, treatment plans, follow-ups, preventive care, and chronic disease management. Deliver culturally sensitive and linguistically appropriate care to diverse patient populations. Work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, dentists, behavioral health providers, social workers, and administrative teams. Support quality care initiatives, patient access, care coordination, and population health goals. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record. Educate patients on preventive care, medication management, lifestyle improvement, and long-term health planning. Participate in care team meetings and support clinic workflow, patient safety, and clinical quality standards. Represent the organization's mission of serving patients with dignity, professionalism, and high-quality care. Doctor of Medicine MD or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine DO degree. Current status as one of the following: Currently completing Family Medicine residency Board Eligible in Family Medicine Board Certified in Family Medicine Active or eligible California medical license preferred. Strong interest in outpatient primary care and community-based medicine. Prior FQHC, community health center, safety-net clinic, underserved care, public health, or high-volume outpatient clinic experience strongly preferred. Mission-driven approach to caring for underserved, uninsured, low-income, and diverse patient populations. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, professionalism, and patient-centered care approach. Comfortable managing 20 to 22 patients per day in an outpatient setting. Bilingual ability is a plus, but not required.
