Responsibilities
- Sell JRTC merchandise at JRTC tournaments, Spring Training games, MLB events, third-party tournaments and events, and additional special events as needed
- Set up merchandise table, point of sale equipment, display items, and bins of inventory when scheduled
- Meticulously record sales during shifts to keep track of inventory sold
- Take inventory of items at the beginning and end of each shift
- Balance daily financial transactions upon completion of shift
- Welcome guests and ensure customer satisfaction through superior customer service
- Answer questions about facility amenities, services, points of interest, and current/upcoming JRTC events
- Handle and resolve any potential issues with merchandise
- Report any accidents or injuries to management staff immediately
- Other duties as assigned by Marketing Coordinator
- Qualifications & Skills
- Excellent verbal communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Previous cash handling experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High level of attention to detail
- Self-motivated and highly organized
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers and managers
- Physical stamina and mobility including ability to lift, reach, kneel and bend
- Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
