Responsibilities for Export Operations Officer Export Responsibilities Receive Customers' Shipment Orders from the Customer Service Unit for the processing of Shipments to various Destinations. Ensure shipment details (ie, pieces, weight, dimensions, commodity, rate) are typed correctly onto the Airwaybill / Housewayill. Ensure Shipment(s) is correctly identified based on the Customer's Shipping Documents (Invoice / Packing List) before affixing the Cargo Label(s) onto the Carton(s). Co-ordinate closely with the Service Provider to ensure Shipments are transferred to / lodged-in to the Cargo Terminals of the respective Airlines before the Departure Time(s) Ensure Dangerous Goods (DGs) and Non-Conforming Cargoes are segregated / separated from General and Moving Cargoes. Provide updates to the Customer Service Unit on Shipments that were offloaded / rejected by the Airline(s) due to certain Non-Compliance Scheduled for Shift Duties due to the late return of Shipments to our Warehouse premises. Import Responsibilities Receive Customers' Shipment Orders from the Customer Service Unit for the processing of Shipments for Delivery to the various Customers' premises. Check on the Status (ie, arrived complete, arrived partially, arrived damaged, arrived but still not cleared, arrived but unlocated in the Cargo Terminal, etc) and update the Customer Service Unit accordingly Inform and co-ordinate with the respective Airlines, Cargo Terminal Operators, Overseas Agents and Departments on the Shipments that cannot be delivered due to certain Discrepancies. Ensure Shipment Clearance and Delivery Requirements are adhered to / complied with as per the Customers' requirements. Ensure the Complete and Correct Shipment Documents for the various Shipments are handed over to the Transportation Service Provider for delivery to the various Customers. Provide Proof Of Delivery (POD) updates to the Customers, Departments, Overseas Agents.
