Assistant to Import TDM - South & Central America Full time, permanent We are looking for a detail-focused individual to support our Import South & Central America trade, coordinating with overseas offices and internal teams to deliver operational, reporting and customer support, with opportunities to improve processes and contribute to trade growth. How you will help us and what you can expect Maintain our schedule integrity report & highlight any possible issues for investigation Update & share daily vessel / booking reports for specific customers Establish & maintain good client relationships Maintain special rates & contracts as well as Geneva tariffs Use in-house systems such as Flint, Avery, TMS, Link & the One Vision Platform (OVQ, CRM, OVParty) Client & Geneva visit preparation Assist with day-to-day quotations as well as tenders Query handling & resolution Support the Trade Development Manager as required on an ongoing basis Provide any other support when required Skills and experience you'll bring to us Strong IT skills especially in the Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word & PowerBI programmes To be organised & have a methodical approach to work to ensure accuracy of reporting along with ensuring that all strict deadlines are met Strong analytical skills & to be able to present data & information to create strategies or market understanding for the client base with a results driven approach Be able to work on their own initiative & problem solve independently A balanced understanding of operational & commercial demands Confidence to make appropriate fact-based decisions, be professional, willing to help & enabled to provide effective communication with both internal & external customers Be a team player with a flexible can-do approach to work
