We are currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Test Engineer. Someone with a proven track record and a genuine interest in testing electronics and power electronics products, including, but not limited to, sensors, industrial power supplies, power converters, etc. If you bring a wealth of experience in product management, coupled with a passion for advancing electronics and power electronics, we welcome you to apply for this role. Scopes and Responsibilities Follow and get involved in the design review phase. Work independently from the development team to qualify the products. Design and test components to qualify the specifications, quality, reliability, etc. Independently design test setups and determine methods, procedures, and conditions for testing products on complete prototypes/products, including hardware and embedded software, emphasizing functional aspects but also covering safety aspects, compliance with standards, etc. Prepare test plan and perform/coordinate tests with the defined setup, methodology, and procedures. Support the developers in feature discovery grooming. Define problems, collect data, draw valid conclusions, and drive corrective actions along with the developers in product lifecycle management. Analyse state-of-the-art testing technologies and develop steps and processes to improve testing procedures in terms of efficiency and flexibility. Requirements and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in electrical and electronic engineering, computer science, communication engineering, or related technical discipline. Minimum of 2-5 years of work experience. Knowledge and experience in both hardware and firmware testing, including working with various operating systems. Hands-on experience in testing methodologies. Ability to work with various departments to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed project plan. Experience in general lab equipment such as multimeter, oscilloscope, bench power supply. Experience in instrument control and test automation using Python, Labview, or similar. Experience in testing communication protocols such as MODBUS, PMBUS, CAN, or similar. Experience in dealing with products with higher than 1kW output would be an advantage. Experience developing a GUI for monitoring and debugging using PyQt, Tkinter, Labview, or similar tools would be an advantage. Experience in EMC and electrical safety testing would be an advantage.
