Specific eligibility and coverage details will be provided during the hiring process** Job Summary: Integrated Fire & Security Solutions is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm and Security Service Technician to join our team in Fort Myers, FL. This role focuses on servicing, troubleshooting, and supporting a variety of low‑voltage systems, with emphasis on fire alarm, access control, and video surveillance equipment. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, customer‑focused, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced field environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform service, repair, and troubleshooting on fire alarm, access control, security, and video surveillance systems. Assist with minor installation tasks as needed, including conduit, wiring, and device installation. Coordinate with customers onsite to communicate service needs, timelines, and system status. Program, test, and verify system functionality across platforms such as Notifier, FireLite, Silent Knight, Lenel, DSX, Milestone, Salient, and DMP. Provide basic end‑user training following service or repair. Work with the Service Coordinator and Service Manager to schedule service calls and confirm availability of required materials and equipment. Complete accurate service reports and documentation within SME (IFSS's service management software). Conduct quality‑control reviews of completed work to ensure proper operation and compliance with applicable codes. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry standards, NFPA and NEC requirements, and emerging technologies through ongoing training and seminars. Required Skills & Qualifications 3-5 years of experience servicing low‑voltage systems or equivalent technical experience. High School Diploma or GED. Working knowledge of NEC and NFPA codes related to fire alarm and security systems. Ability to troubleshoot devices, panels, and system components across multiple low‑voltage platforms. Strong communication and customer‑service skills. Ability to work independently with strong problem‑solving abilities. Proficiency with service‑related software, diagnostic tools, and general technology. Ability to meet company driving eligibility requirements, including holding a valid driver's license and maintaining an acceptable motor vehicle record.
