As Senior Product Manager you will partner closely with Engineering, Design and Go-to-Market teams to shape how Lucanet's platform supports Record to Report, with an initial focus on Intercompany Reconciliation and expanding into adjacent close and consolidation areas over time. This is a senior, hands-on role focused on domain leadership, AI-driven product vision, customer discovery and delivery execution. You will act as a trusted domain authority for internal teams and external stakeholders, helping shape how AI and automation reshape the financial close.
Responsibilities
- Act as the internal subject matter authority for Record to Report, shaping product direction across close, reconciliation, consolidation, reporting and variance analysis.
- Shape product vision for how AI and automation transform the financial close, including automated reconciliation, anomaly detection, assisted journal entries and narrative generation.
- Lead continuous discovery through customer and partner conversations, competitor analysis and hypothesis driven experiments.
- Author PRDs, opportunity briefs and decision documents, and partner with Design on mockups and prototypes to align stakeholders before engineering investment.
- Act as Product Owner for one to three delivery teams: own the backlog, write requirements and acceptance criteria, and run functional reviews of delivered work.
- Define success metrics for features and products, and iterate based on data and customer feedback.
- Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success and Partners on launch readiness, positioning, pricing input and customer facing demos.
- Mentor other product team members on domain topics and act as an escalation point for complex product decisions.
- What you bring to the table
- Strong domain expertise in Group Accounting, Record to Report or adjacent areas such as Intercompany Reconciliation, Consolidation or Group Reporting, typically gained as a practitioner, consultant or power user.
- Solid working knowledge of accounting and consolidation principles, including IFRS and local GAAPs.
- Hands-on experience with consolidation or close software such as Lucanet, IDL, Prophix, OneStream, CCH Tagetik, BlackLine, Anaplan or Pigment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across customers, executives, engineering, design and commercial teams.
- A point of view on where AI and automation belong in finance processes, and curiosity to keep developing that perspective.
- Comfort working with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing and Partners on positioning, pricing and demos.
- University degree, preferably in business, finance, accounting or a related field.
