About the Position: Serves as the full deputy director to the Military Postal Service Agency (MPSA) and principal advisor to the Executive Director, Administrative Assistant to the Services, and Commanders-in-Chiefs of Major Commands on all matters pertaining to the operation of the Military Postal Service, located in Arlington, VA. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes managing Military Postal Service operations and transportation networks; analyzing military postal programs, policies, and/or procedures to improve operational effectiveness and compliance; coordinating with DoD, USPS, and/or other government stakeholders on military postal matters; and overseeing administrative, personnel, and/or budget management functions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-14).
