Responsibilities

  • Develop and establish IT risk and controls register, including the identification of specific global regulatory mandates and objectives.
  • Perform specific compliance related activities and prepare necessary reporting on compliance requirements. Facilitate compliance activities across IT groups to ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain proper linkage from IT risk and controls register to IT policy.
  • Plan and manage IT controls and compliance processes ensuring all compliance activities meet obligations and expectations. Facilitate process to review findings and determine a proper risk based outcome and resource availability for management response of remediation activities and timelines.
  • Ensure roles and responsibilities are clear for IT controls and compliance processes including IT roles and external roles with external auditors, internal auditors, Human Resources and law department.
  • Ensures IT uses appropriate software to track and document compliance related activities for both audit requests as well as remediation of identified issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent experience required.
  • 10+ Years IT audit, controls and regulatory compliance, or related experience required and 3+ Years management experience.
  • Project management skills. Demonstrates ability to evaluate IT controls objectives and feasibility.
  • Oral and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to convey business terminology that is meaningful and well received by the customer.
  • Ability to translate business needs and problems into technical solutions.
  • People management skills, demonstrating an ability to lead, mentor and develop staff. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of broad business and finance related practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and/or sub-teams simultaneously, including the ability to delegate key areas of responsibility.
  • Ability to adapt to new methods, work under tight deadlines and stressful conditions.
