Credit Analyst

About the role

Analyse credit risk, debtor performance and financial data to minimise exposure and optimise cash flow outcomes Deliver accurate reporting, dashboards and insights using Power BI and advanced Excel to support operational and commercial decisions Support accounting activities including journals, reconciliations, variance analysis and financial reporting requirements Continuously improve credit management policies, controls and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and governance Partner with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business to provide analytical support and influence positive financial outcomes Identify trends, risks and opportunities within large datasets to support proactive decision making and stronger business performance Contribute to a culture of safety, compliance and operational excellence across all activities.

Requirements

• Experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or finance within a large and complex organisation
• Strong analytical capability, with confidence interpreting financial and operational data to drive insights and recommendations
• Advanced Excel skills and proven experience using Power BI to build reports and dashboards
• Understanding of accounting fundamentals including journals, reconciliations and variance analysis
• A continuous improvement mindset, with a passion for automation, process enhancement and delivering smarter ways of working
• Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
• The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Relevant business, finance, or accounting qualifications, or equivalent experience, would be advantageous.
