SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Must have experience or training in stock handling methods, including pricing, displaying, and rotating stock. Must be able to interpret SKU numbers, invoices and shipping statements. Must have or be able to obtain a fork lift operator's permit. Must demonstrate leadership abilities. RESPONSIBILITY: Responsible for performing routine and repetitive duties independently. Receives, locates, and stores, materials, commodities and equipment in accordance with established procedures and operating requirements. PHYSICAL EFFORT: Stands on hard surfaces for extended periods of time. Bends, stoops, and works in tiring and sometimes uncomfortable positions. Lifts and carries objects up to 45 lbs independently and objects over 45 lbs with assistance. WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed inside or outside in areas that may be hot, damp, cold, drafty, or poorly lighted. May be required to wear protective clothing.
