Urgent: Electrical Technician (Vessel / Marine)

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems and components on marine vessels.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve electrical issues effectively.
• Install new electrical systems, components, and wiring on vessels.
• Upgrade or modify existing electrical systems to meet operational needs.
• Conduct diagnostic testing and use appropriate tools to verify system integrity.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to vessel crews and internal teams.
• Comply with all safety standards and procedures during maintenance and repair activities.
• Ensure adherence to maritime regulations and electrical engineering standards.

Requirements

• Nitec in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in marine or vessel electrical work.
• Strong teamwork, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Travel to vessels to perform on-site maintenance and repair work as required.
