Project Controls Specialist II (PCS-II) is a position is responsible for initiating and completing routine aspects of project control assignments including complex aspects of estimating, scheduling, change analysis and cost control. Therefore, the PCS-II is an essential member of a project team. PCS-II supports Senior Project Controls Specialists and project managers on varying ranked projects in accordance with Project Management Center of Excellence (PMCoE) assignment criteria. The PCS-II is responsible for performing various aspects of project control assignments using prescribed methods and tools. The position is considered to have advanced accumen in project controls principles, and requires a higher level of cognitive comprehension and application. Demonstration comes from extensive and diverse work experience, or less experience coupled with higher levels of formal education. It requires proficient use, understanding and application of project controls principles and associated project controls software tools.
