About the role

Human Centred Design Specialist - Rmkble We are looking for Human Centred Design (HCD) specialists to join the Rmkble team . This role brings a people-first lens to complex digital and organisational challenges helping our clients design services, systems, and experiences that work for the humans who use them. We are looking for experienced technology consultants who have worked in discovery, design and delivery roles. They are people oriented and used to partnering with client stakeholders, product owners and delivery teams to ensure that technology and process change is grounded in user / customer understanding. This is a hands-on role for someone who is as comfortable facilitating a workshop with senior leaders as they are translating research insights into actionable design artefacts. Aspects of the work Research & Discovery Lead user research activities including stakeholder interviews, usability studies, and contextual inquiry to build deep understanding of user needs and pain points Evaluate current-state processes, workflows, and system capabilities to identify opportunities for improvement Synthesise qualitative and quantitative research into themes, insights, and design opportunities Design & Solution Development Facilitate workshops and co-design sessions with diverse groups of stakeholders, managers, and subject matter experts Translate user needs and business requirements into service concepts, wireframes, process maps, and design specifications Develop personas, user journeys, and other HCD artefacts to communicate findings and guide design decisions Assist in shaping product roadmaps and defining scope and objectives in collaboration with client teams Delivery & Change Work within agile delivery teams to ensure HCD thinking is embedded throughout the sprint cycle Partner with Product Owners to ensure timely testing, feedback, and iteration against sprint timelines Create and maintain clear documentation including process flows, training materials, and specifications Support adoption and change efforts by transparently communicating progress, decisions, and outcomes to all stakeholders Stakeholder Engagement Build and manage trusted relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, including senior leaders and technical teams Identify and navigate differences in understanding, escalating issues where needed with clarity and care Act as an advocate for the end user throughout the design and delivery process Skills & Attributes Facilitation: Confident facilitating workshops and requirements sessions with diverse, senior stakeholder groups Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present complex ideas with clarity and confidence Resilience: Comfortable navigating ambiguity, resistance to change, and competing priorities Accountability: Takes ownership of tasks and proactively manages priorities without waiting to be directed Growth mindset: Actively seeks feedback and applies lessons learned to continuously improve Agility: Pragmatic and flexible; focused on fit-for-purpose ways of working rather than rigid methodology Organisation: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously Experience & Capabilities Demonstrated background in service design, design research, and/or business analysis Expertise in human-centred design methodologies, including discovery, ideation, and prototyping Experience working in agile team environments , with a strong understanding of agile principles and delivery practices Ability to overlay system functionality with process and user requirements Skill in translating research insights into clear service concepts and design artefacts Experience working with distributed teams and achieving outcomes across organisational boundaries Familiarity with portfolio management or workflow tooling (e.g. ServiceNow SPM, Jira, or similar) is advantageous About Rmkble Rmkble is a principles-driven company, founded on a core set of principles and values that haven't changed since day one and never will.
