Based at our picturesque and conveniently located St Lucia campus About This Opportunity As a Senior Principal Business Process Analyst, support the implementation of research management systems and processes by working closely with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to analyse, design and optimise business processes to support research data governance. Operating within a collaborative and purpose driven environment, you will play a key role in ensuring research data management and compliance requirements are embedded into research systems and researcher practices, enabling consistent and effective delivery across the University. Key responsibilities will include: Collaborate with stakeholders and process owners to assess impacts of new research systems and compliance requirements on business processes. Analyse current and future state processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and supporting the development of effective solutions. Lead operational readiness activities, ensuring processes and areas are prepared for system implementation and change. Develop and standardise operating procedures, ensuring alignment with research data practices and compliance requirements. Please note this is primarily an on-campus role with flexibility consistent with university policies and team requirements. You may be required to attend meetings across multiple campuses. About You You are an analytical and detail-oriented professional who thrives in complex environments and enjoys driving process improvement. With strong stakeholder engagement skills, you bring a structured and collaborative approach to delivering practical, high-quality outcomes. Postgraduate qualifications or an equivalent combination of extensive experience and education. Demonstrated experience in business analysis, process mapping and process improvement, including development of 'as is' and 'to be' processes. Strong understanding of research data management and governance frameworks, including GDPR requirements. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop practical, high-quality solutions. Highly developed written communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities to deliver outcomes. Proven ability to engage, influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
