About the role

As a Business Director , you'll oversee one of our largest portfolio brands, managing a mix of programme-based work across owned channels, social, strategy, and creative content production. In this lead client-facing position, you'll work at the intersection of business and production to output high-fidelity strategy through to premium craft, combining platforms, creative content, data, and experience into one. We are looking for someone who is passionate about seeking new opportunities to create impactful work.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and strategic partner for clients, developing roadmaps for sustained brand success.
  • Oversee the sales pipeline and drive revenue growth for individual brands under your purview.
  • Safeguard business planning and development to achieve targets and KPIs while identifying new assignment opportunities.
  • Manage the program of projects, facilitating communication between clients and Monks teams to initiate new assignments.
  • Leverage digital expertise in platforms, social media, and asset production to handle diverse client briefs.
  • Cultivate incredible relationships with leading global advertisers.
  • Lead multiple accounts across various sectors or geographies, ensuring excellence and profitability.
  • Inspire , develop, and manage senior account leaders and brand business leads.
  • Contribute to the agency's growth strategy and participate in new business pitches.
  • About You
  • The essentials:
  • 12+ years of industry experience, with 4+ years in a lead role managing high-value, interdisciplinary work.
  • Bilingual proficiency in both Arabic and English.
  • GCC experience is a must for this role.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing multi-million dollar global/local accounts and winning new business.
  • Deep understanding of digital business objectives and the ability to produce high-end content at a high pace.
  • Strategic mindset that prioritizes long-term partnerships and work-stream milestones over individual projects.
  • Confidence in providing expert advice on digital production and platforms at the C-level.
  • Strong leadership skills that foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Expertise in multi-channel digital-first campaigns and AOR/Ad-hoc team management.
  • Not a must, but a plus:
  • Data Literacy: A high comfort level with media, analytics, and data-driven insights.
  • Social Specialist: Specific experience in deep social media strategy and management.
