Minimum Requirements
Requirements
8+ years of professional software engineering experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience building and shipping client systems for games or similarly complex interactive applications.
Experience contributing to at least one shipped title.
Experience collaborating across disciplines including engineering, art, and design.
Knowledge & Skills
Strong proficiency in C# and Unity , developing scalable and maintainable client systems.
Solid understanding of software architecture and object-oriented programming principles.
Experience with debugging, profiling, and optimizing performance in real-time applications.
Familiarity with multiplatform development considerations.
Proven ability to work collaboratively within teams and foster productive partnerships across all departments.
Demonstrated ability to inspire colleagues through an enthusiastic approach to game development and a commitment to continuous improvement of core skills.
Ability to take initiative and manage responsibilities independently, demonstrating strong ownership and accountability.
Experienced and knowledgeable player of a wide range of games; able to use this expertise to enhance creative decisions in game development.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Client Foundations to help craft a new, unannounced game for Blizzard. As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for building and evolving core client systems and tooling that enable scalable, performant, and responsive gameplay experiences. You are comfortable operating in a dynamic environment, navigating fluid deadlines and changing priorities with purpose.
This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work from home. The potential home studio for this role is Irvine, CA.
