Perform a variety of routine and special phlebotomy procedures as authorized by the Supervisor/Manager/Director
Responsible for ordering tests into the Laboratory and Hospital computer systems and documenting Lab receipt of specimens
Collect patient specimens in accordance with test requirements and in a manner which is appropriate for the age and/or specific patient population served
Collect blood samples for specific tests ensuring volume is adequate and correct tubes are utilized
Requirements
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent work experience
Certification: CPR-BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider -AHA required and PBT (ASCP) certification preferred
Experience: Phlebotomy training experience strongly preferred
Unique or Preferred Skills: Good communication and organization skills, moderate computer skills needed, reliable transportation to travel between sites required, strong customer service skills.

$18.84 - $27.32 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
