About the role

The Paramedic performs in a nursing support role with a variety of direct care functions under general supervison by licensed team members including RN, Physician, and/or APC. Job Description: SCHEDULE : PRN, not benefit elgible 12 hours/pay period 12 weekend hours/6 week block Paramedic or experienced Registered Nurse (RN) encouraged to apply Key Accountabilities Receives direction and assignments from licensed team members and provides technical support to optimize patient care Reports on the condition of the patient to the appropriate licensed team members to ensure safe, quality patient care Completes accurate documentation in the electronic medical record Reinforces patient education performed by the RN Assists with patient transport to other departments as needed based on patient condition Assists with maintaining a safe and clean environment to perform patient care Administers medications under the general supervision of the RN or Provider in accordance with the ThedaCare-approved Paramedic medication list
