About the role

You will serve as a Supervisory IT Specialist (Policy & Planning) in the Information Systems Division of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Knowledge of enterprise IT architecture, including LAN/WAN administration, data center operations, and integration of complex systems. Demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships across organizational boundaries and collaborate with external agencies. Must be capable of forecasting future IT requirements, developing long-range infrastructure plans, and aligning technical solutions with overarching mission goals. Ability to oversee the technical stability of network transport layers and server infrastructure. Demonstrated experience leading an IT team or serving in a senior supervisory capacity. Must know how to assign work, conduct performance appraisals, manage resources, and mentor technical staff. Extensive experience managing an IT/IM Operations Center or Enterprise Help Desk. Must possess the ability to oversee tiered troubleshooting for software applications, PC hardware, and network outages, while acting as a senior advocate for customer requirements.
