III, you will connect and collaborate with key business partners on deal terms and structures and contribute to the development of economic analysis of commercial opportunities by suggesting creative ideas and innovative solutions. Responsibilities/Expectations: Identifies and pursues opportunities to expand existing accounts and asset footprints Participates in tradeshows/exhibits to promote Williams brand and services Supports closure of all new opportunities with existing customers Interprets and facilitates implementation of agreements and amendments Assists with the negotiation of contract terms for new or modified contracts Works directly with natural gas storage assets Develops and executes optimization strategies (e.g., park and loan, wheeling , balancing) while assessing system constraints, flow changes, and service impacts during capacity limitations or unplanned outages Develops and implements controls to improve customer utilization forecasting and support informed optimization decisions Evaluates deal structures, including contract terms, to assess risk/reward and overall business impact Other duties as assigned Education/Years of Experience: Required: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, finance, economics or relevant field and minimum seven (7) years' commercial experience Preferred: MBA Other Requirements: Able to work after hours, weekends, or rotating schedules as operational needs arise (e.g., grid events, outages, weather-driven conditions) Understands natural gas market fundamentals Demonstrates a general understanding of financial derivatives Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority Possesses a background in managing operational or commercial natural gas assets Possesses experience with direct customer interaction and B2B sales Demonstrates the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment Preferred: Experience as a gas scheduler Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications Ability to understand contract details and resulting business impacts Demonstrates understanding of energy market fundamentals and economics, including commodity pricing, basin market fundamentals and competitor strategies and actions Knowledge of all components of a deal structure, including risks and deal value Previous commercial experience with proficiency in economics, marketing practices and contracting Understanding of the energy industry #LI-CT1 About Houston (Williams Tower Location): Our Houston office is located in the Williams Tower, just steps from the Houston Galleria on Post Oak Boulevard, an area with more than 700 retailers, fine dining and hotels within two square miles.
