Job Description Position Objective Embedded directly within the German Sales and Business Development theater, the Director Public Affairs & Strategic Communications will serve as the strategic shield and tactical multiplier for Silvus's aggressive double-digit growth trajectory in Germany. This role is purpose-built to neutralize competitor disinformation ("FUD") regarding our technical performance while establishing unshakeable visibility and credibility within political Berlin. The immediate operational priority is the protection and expansion of Silvus's highest-stakes revenue pipelines. To maximize impact while maintaining startup agility, this leader will remain fully integrated within the lean Silvus German team while directly leveraging and orchestrating Motorola Solutions' existing local corporate assets, including the Government Affairs, Press, and Marketing teams. Core Responsibilities: Political Influence & Network Execution: Establish, expand, and maintain a high-level network within political Berlin, the German Ministry of Defence (BMVg), BAAINBw, BWI and key parliamentary procurement committees to institutionalize Silvus as the undisputed tactical edge standard. Counter-FUD & Strategic Messaging: Proactively detect and aggressively counter competitor rumors or false narratives regarding Silvus hardware capability. Authoritatively defend and broadcast our technical and battlefield proven superiority, including unique-to-Silvus features codified within our operational pillar of Spectrum Dominance. Specialized Trade Media Coordination: Design, align, and execute highly targeted public relations campaigns across defense, governmental, and specialized print media channels (e.g., Europäische Sicherheit & Technik, InfoBrief Heer, Wehrtechnik) to emphasize our deep market seniority. A clearly differentiated and recognized silvus brand in relevant theaters, in line with the global brand/Motorola Solutions, recognized by the audience we want to reach and defend consistently across every external surface. Motorola Ecosystem Synergy: Act as the primary, high-speed bridge to activate and direct Motorola Solutions' established local German Government Affairs and PR infrastructure, scaling Silvus's message without introducing bureaucratic drag. Sales Pipeline Enablement: Directly support German Business Development and Account Management forces by removing reputational and political barriers to entry, paving a friction-free path to capture massive contract wins. Organization and Execution of EBI Level events (e.g. Parliamentary Evenings) to ensure the aforementioned visibility of Silvus Technologies. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) 1.
