Senior Engineer - Electrical (Johor, Malaysia)

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer with a strong consultancy background to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data center projects , excellent technical proficiency, and strong communication skills to manage complex engineering tasks in a consultancy environment. Lead and manage electrical design and engineering for data center projects , ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements. Prepare and review technical documentation , including drawings, specifications, and reports. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution. Conduct design reviews , feasibility studies, and technical evaluations. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and sustainability standards throughout the project lifecycle. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of data center project experience . Consultancy Background: Mandatory. Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Proficiency in AutoCAD and Bluebeam (required). Knowledge of other electrical design software is an advantage. Skills: Strong communication , documentation , and coordination abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, consultancy-driven environment. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
