About the role

Introduce high school and college aged students to Japanese language and culture. - Enhance student development through lecture and facilitation of student discussion and activities. - Prepare creative presentations and lectures on Japanese Theatre & Kabuki Movement. - Educate students about Japanese culture and etiquette. - Design curriculum to teach students about Japanese language and culture. - Guide and encourage students to broaden their cultural horizons. - Evaluate student progress and learning of Japanese Theatre, the Kabuki Movement, Japanese language, culture, and etiquette. - Act as a mentor and resource person to students regarding the curriculum. Advanced knowledge of Japanese Theatre & Kabuki Movement, along with Japanese language, culture, and etiquette. - Prior teaching experience required. - Strong communication and presentation skills. - Ability to manage and provide instruction to students. - A passion for women's education. - Strong leadership skills. - Ability to work independently and coordinate with other volunteers.
