Engineer

Responsibilities

• Site Supervision
• Supervise daily electrical installation works on site.
• Coordinate site activities with subcontractors, suppliers, and other trades.
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor manpower deployment and productivity.
• Technical Duties
• Design construction drawings and identify discrepancies.
• Prepare site work plans and method statements.
• Conduct site measurements and inspections.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and system troubleshooting.
• Quality Control
• Ensure compliance with project quality requirements.
• Conduct inspections and prepare quality records.
• Monitor corrective actions for non-conformance issues.
• Ensure materials used meet project specifications.
• Safety Management
• Enforce workplace safety and health requirements.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
• Report safety concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with site safety procedures.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Maintain site records, inspection reports, and as-built documentation.
• Coordinate material deliveries and inventory tracking.
• Support submission of shop drawings and technical documents.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2-5 years of experience in electrical construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of electrical installation practices and testing procedures.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
• Good communication and coordination skills .
• Experience in commercial buildings, industrial facilities, data centres, or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of local electrical codes and regulations.
• Possession of Workplace Safety certifications is an advantage.
