About the role
This position is located at the West Point United States Mint. As a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist, you will be responsible for providing short-term and long-range plan input for enterprise and IT infrastructure and end user IT equipment and managing the operation of owned and contracted enterprise infrastructure. Specialized Experience for the GS-14, you must have one year (full 52 weeks) of specialized experience at a level ofdifficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for thisposition is defined as: -Directed enterprise IT infrastructure operations supporting mission-critical business systems (i.e. networks, servers, storage, virtualization, Active Directory, telecommunications, cybersecurity, and data center services), ensuring high availability and operational continuity; AND -Led continuous IT service delivery, incident management, and outage restoration efforts, serving as the senior escalation authority for technical issues and critical production system failures; AND -Managed enterprise IT projects and strategic initiatives, developing business cases, project plans, implementation strategies, and support documentation to deliver technology solutions aligned with organizational objectives; AND -Supervised multidisciplinary teams of IT professionals and contractors, overseeing workforce planning, performance management, employee development, staffing actions, and technical training programs. In addition to meeting specialized experience, individuals must have experience demonstrating each of the following competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Decision Making, Information Management, Interpersonal Skills, Oral Communication, Problem Solving, Teamwork, and Technical Competence.
