About the role

Join our Process Solutions team and play a central part in the success of our licensed technologies. We are looking for an experienced leader to manage and grow our global aftermarket business. This business supplies essential solvents and catalysts to our customers in the refining, petrochemical, biofuels, and chemical recycling sectors. This role is key to providing our customers with valuable, long-term solutions. You will be responsible for the success of this business line, shaping its strategy and driving its growth. The role can be based in a number of locations: Winterthur/Allschwil, Singapore, Shanghai, Houston, or fully remote. Key roles and contributions: Define and execute a winning strategy for our solvent and catalyst business, creating synergy with Sulzer's licensed technologies. Make our product offerings stronger through smart pricing, effective market positioning, and good supplier partnerships. Oversee our solvent and catalyst products from development to end-of-life, including driving new innovations. Work closely with our technology and process solution teams to increase aftermarket sales. Keep track of industry trends, competitors, and new opportunities for business growth. Collaborate across departments to ensure our products and services meet customer needs. To succeed in this role, you will need: A bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, or a similar field. 10-15 years of experience in the refining, petrochemical, or chemical processing industries. A strong background in selling catalysts, solvents, or other industrial chemicals to these markets. Proven success in growing an aftermarket business for industrial products. A good understanding of process technologies, product portfolio management, and how solvents and catalysts are used. Experience with extraction technologies (such as BTX extraction) is a major plus. Excellent skills in strategic thinking, communication, negotiation, and leadership. Fluency in English is required. Other languages are an asset.
