Position Overview: The Bilingual Loan Officer supports the loan origination process by gathering and reviewing client documentation, analyzing financial information, and helping structure loan scenarios in alignment with program requirements. This role works closely with an established Loan Officer and contributes to an efficient, accurate, and client‑focused lending workflow. This role offers exposure to a dynamic lending environment, provides opportunities to expand knowledge within the mortgage industry, and includes access to provided leads to support production and professional development. Job Responsibilities: Take complete loan applications and review client documentation. Guide borrowers through the loan application process and provide clear, timely communication. Analyze credit, income, and financial profiles to recommend appropriate loan products. Structure loan scenarios and review program options. Originate residential mortgage loans, including Conventional, FHA, VA, and Non‑QM products. Build and maintain relationships with clients, real estate agents, and referral partners. Ensure documentation and loan files meet federal, state, and investor compliance requirements. Proactively follow up with clients and active files to resolve inquiries and gather required information. Collaborate with processing and underwriting teams to support pipeline management and ensure smooth, timely closings. Stay up to date on lending guidelines, market trends, and interest rate changes. Qualifications and Skills: Active Nevada Loan Originator license (NMLS). Fluency in Spanish and English to support a diverse customer base. 2+ years of experience as a Loan Officer or Mortgage Loan Originator, preferred. Advanced knowledge of mortgage products and underwriting guidelines. Comfortable working with numbers and financial documents. Highly organized with excellent attention to detail. Excellent communication, sales, and relationship-building skills. Skilled in working independently and maintaining productivity in a remote environment. Skilled in applying analytical thinking to evaluate information, solve problems, and make sound decisions.
