Your contribution to Prysmian's Success: We are looking for a Electrical Product & Application Engineer who join the Network Components Business Unit in Milan, focusing on Medium Voltage (MV) Cable Accessories products. Job responsibilities Contribute to product modularity and standardization across engineering designs. Manage and maintain product codes, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and related documentation. Control and optimize product costs, supporting cost-reduction initiatives. Support product strategy and the development of customer-facing features. Lead phase-in/phase-out activities for product codes and ensure smooth transitions. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Operations, and other departments to align engineering activities with business goals, as well as product development teams to design or adapt solutions. Utilize CAD tools for design and documentation, as well as SAP for product data management and process integration. Support and monitor activities in the manufacturing plant, gaining understanding of production processes to ensure product feasibility and quality. You are the right fit if you have/are: Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field). Fluency in English. Proven experience in a manufacturing or product development environment within structured organizations. Experience in technical design, product coding, and product lifecycle management. Familiarity with CAD tools and SAP. Previous experience in laboratory activities, testing, and prototyping is considered a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage diverse technical challenges. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
